jadThe opening session for MDLAB 2015، started with Dr. Jad Melki explaining about the academy’s objectives, outcomes, and expectations.

Dr. Melki then demonstrated the importance of media literacy and discussed the state of media literacy in the Arab region.

Dr. Jad Melki works as an Associate Professor in the Department of Journalism and Media Studies at the American University in Beirut.
