Abstract:
At the end of the twentieth century there were a number of research and media studies on the negative effects of the contents of the media on children and youth; specifically the content of the satellite TV and the Internet, and has taken the content of several forms, including: violence, or pornography, or stereotype for some segments of society and some minority groups, races, or other topics.
This study is concerned with proving how media literacy enhances critical thinking and teaching media users the need to question media messages, specially content obtained from TV and the Internet.
